Lombard Street is a San Franciscan treat for tourists, but it's gotta be a royal pain in the ass for locals. Known as "America's crookedest street," Lombard literally winds down a steep hill in the city of Golden Gate. It was originally designed to stop people from coming "whistling down" the embankment, which is part of one of San Fran's most upscale neighbourhood's.
