"...There's an opening shot of a ghost town where a ghost car crawls the road
Passes by the public pool where the kids learn the dead man's float
Palm tree's covered in an inch of snow and a long, slow, accordion note"

Craig Northey: "Sometimes things are just sad. In sad movies there is always a soundtrack that involves a long slow accordion note. Rob and I were discussing the elements of a soundtrack to a favourite tragic movie and soon after we started to work on this track. Music and death go so well together."

Rob Baker: "This started as a simple acoustic piece at my dining room table several years ago. I showed it to Gord Sinclair and we tracked it- with him on bass and banjo. I then added the electric guitar parts. A couple of days later Paul Langlois added some spooky electric guitar and Johnny Fay added the drums. It then sat on the shelf for a few years and every once in a while I would pull it out and say 'I've gotta do something with this'. Craig's lyrics came pretty quickly after a discussion about creating a cinematic scene. I think it's also a simple but powerful depiction of our collective environmental and spiritual decline."
