Sweet And Low references

"...Melvin's voice was there at the start"

Rob wrote: "Quite literally a song about Melvin Franklin - the second last Temptation." Franklin has been described as having a gentle voice that could rumble your chest. As part of the legendary vocal group The Temptations, Franklin was part of perhaps the best known three-part harmony ever: 1964's "My Girl." Time took it's toll on the Temptations. When they collaborated with Rick James in the 1980's, Melvin Franklin and Otis Williams were the only remaining original members. Both men retired in 1986.

"...When they built the Ark"

"...Forbidden fruit took down the troops
Now there's just one last Temptation"

Craig added: "Biblical references abound. Consequently Rob chose to play a role in the Kingston production of "Jesus Christ Superstar."

"...It's not his suit that got the girls"

Perhaps a reference to an Odd's song, "Someone Who's Cool," found on their 1996 album "Nest;" arguably their biggest hit. The lyric from that song: "It was the suit that got me the gig/It was the tear that got me the girl"
